    The Hon. Harriet Shing MP is a member of the Legislative Council of the Victorian Parliament. She has represented the wonderfully diverse Eastern Victoria Region since she was first elected in 2014.

    Prior to her election, Harriet has worked as a senior policy adviser, lawyer, and industrial relations specialist in private, public, and not-for-profit sectors, including as a trustee director on the board of the industry superannuation fund Vision Super.

    Harriet currently serves as the Minister for Housing, Water, and Equality and was formerly the Minister for Regional Development from 2022 to 2023. She has also served as the Parliamentary Secretary for Creative Industries, Digital Government, Equality, Water, Emergency Services, and Mental Health.
