Please join us at 9.30 to meet new friends, chat, have a cuppa and some snacks share an interest in social justice and listen to an interesting talk.

Our guest speaker will be Micaela Cronin.  Micaela was the CEO of Hagar International for three years, from the beginning of 2016 when she moved to Cambodia to take up the global role. She has now returned to Melbourne to take up a role as the Director of the Future Social Services Institute, a partnership between RMIT, the Victoria Council for Social Services and the Victoria government, and will be moving onto the International Hagar board of directors.

With offices in nine countries around the world, Hagar is an international NGO providing trauma informed services to women and children who have experienced human trafficking, slavery, gender based violence and human rights abuses. Hagar was founded in Cambodia 25 years ago, and now delivers programmes in Cambodia, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Singapore and Myanmar.

 It is not necessary to be a member.  $10 at the door.
