March 5th 2017

Date: Sunday, 5 March 2017
Location: Mornington Peninsula Shire Council Offices. Corner of Main and Queen Streets, Mornington

PLEASE NOTE that we have decided this year to change the usual date of the first meeting to be nearer to International Womens Day on 8th of March.  Therefore this meeting only will be held on the first sunday of the month and then meetings will revert back to the usual 3rd Sunday of the months of May, July, September and November.

Do join us on March 5th when our guest speaker will be Luz Restrepo,  the founder and CEO of SisterWorks who support migrant, asylum-seeker and refugee women to develop their own businesses and achieve financial independence.

What started in 2011 as a small group of women making and selling their crafts around Melbourne, SisterWorks has grown to involve 88 women entrepreneurs from 33 different countries and attract 70 volunteers who regularly donate their time and experience.  We welcome any women, bring your friends, membership is not necessary.  Doors open at 9.30. $8.00 includes refreshments.
