Claire Halliday's writing career started doing features for The Sunday Age and, since then, has had more than 1000 articles published in lots of magazines and newspapers.  A writer for 20 years, Claire loves storytelling.   Things My Mother Taught Me is just one of Claire's five published non-fiction works.

Judy Horacek is an award winning Australian cartoonist, children's book illustrator and writer; nominated for two Walkley Awards for Best Cartoon.   It is a concern for social justice, feminism and the environment that launched Judy into cartooning several decades ago, and she continues with those themes to this day.  She is also a great lover of puns.   Random Life is a collection of Judy's cartoons.
